Purdue prevailed, 178-122, over Iowa in the other match.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/uclabruins.com\/documents\/812330a9-a8ec-4fbc-9cf6-6ebad1ca0545.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wetteland won the 200 freestyle in 1:50.85 early in the meet, edging Purdue\u2019s <strong>Caitlin Hurley<\/strong> by .03 seconds. <strong>Sora Koike<\/strong> was third and <strong>Meredith O\u2019Grady<\/strong> fifth for the Bruins.<\/p>\n<p>Duncan was second in the 50 free, then claimed the 100 butterfly in 54.17 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Duncan and Wetteland joined <strong>Claudia Yovanovich<\/strong> and <strong>Sarah Bennetts<\/strong> in winning the 200 medley relay in 1:39.98. Duncan led off with a time of 51.01 in the winning 400 free relay with Bennetts, Wetteland and <strong>Alexis Schaffer<\/strong> for a time of 3:22.14.<\/p>\n<p>Yovanovich won the 100 back with a time of 55.08 seconds, and <strong>Olivia Sina<\/strong> recorded the win in the 200 back in 2:00.91. Bennetts followed with a win in the 200 breaststroke in 2:13.59 after finishing second in the 100 breast by .03 seconds, then 1,000-free runner-up <strong>Mia Bugarin<\/strong> won the 500 free one event later in 4:55.78.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adele Sands<\/strong> won the 1,000 free for Purdue with <strong>Ella Dziobak<\/strong> third. <strong>Lucy Chen<\/strong> won the 100 breast, then <strong>Caroline Mallard<\/strong> (1:59.13) and <strong>Campbell Scofield<\/strong> went 1-2 in the 200 fly. Mallard finished second in the 100 fly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amie Perna<\/strong> finished second in both backstroke events, as was <strong>Lara Phipps<\/strong> in the 100 free, Chen in the 200 breast and Hurley in the 200 and 500 free.<\/p>\n<p>Purdue got a boost in diving, with <strong>Avery Worobel<\/strong> sweeping the victories. She scored 379.00 on 3-meter and 315.35 on 1-meter, both in 1-2 results with <strong>Lucy Dovison.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iowa\u2019s <strong>Payton Flowers<\/strong> won the 50 free in 22.56, with teammate <strong>Rachel Dildine<\/strong> third. Flowers doubled up by going 50.17 to capture the 100 free. <strong>Olivia Swalley<\/strong> won the 200 individual medley in 2:03.84, with teammate <strong>Ariyana Nieckula<\/strong> second.
