Tripp is a talented sprinter.<\/p>\n<p>She will join\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/louisville-lands-2028-verbal-from-junior-national-50-fly-runner-up-peyton-mcdaniel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peyton McDaniel<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/louisville-secures-first-2028-verbal-from-sprint-freestyler-kaylee-richmond\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kaylee Richmond<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Louisville as a member of the Cardinals\u2019 Class of 2032.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>&#8220;I\u2019m incredibly excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Louisville! I\u2019m extremely grateful to my family for all the sacrifices they\u2019ve made and for helping me get to this point, as well as my KBM coaches, Ken and Carla, for all their support along the way. I\u2019m so excited for this next chapter and can\u2019t wait to be a part of the team. Thank you to the coaches and team at Louisville for this amazing opportunity! GO CARDINALS!\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udda4&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Representing Canada internationally, Tripp most recently competed at Junior Pan Pacs where she placed fourth in the 50m fly, 10th in the 50m back, 15th in the 50m free and 17th in the 100m fly. She finished second in the 50m fly, sixth in the 50m back and seventh in the 50m free at Canadian Trials.<\/p>\n<p>Tripp does her club swimming with Kingston Blue Marlins. She earned silver in the 50m fly and bronze in the 50m free at Ontario Junior Internationals last December. She then went on to final in five events at the Canadian Open in April, highlighted by sixth place in the 50m back.<\/p>\n<p>In LCM, her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50m back &#8211; 29.46<\/li>\n<li>100m back &#8211; 1:02.46<\/li>\n<li>50m fly &#8211; 26.96<\/li>\n<li>100m fly &#8211; 1:02.19<\/li>\n<li>50m free &#8211; 26.28<\/li>\n<li>100m free &#8211; 58.19<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In SCY, those times convert to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 back &#8211; 25.09<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 53.40<\/li>\n<li>50 fly &#8211; 26.21<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 54.60<\/li>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 22.86<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 50.79<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tripp&#8217;s top time in the 100 back (converted to yards) would&#8217;ve ranked fourth on the Cardinals&#8217; roster last year.<\/p>\n<p>Louisville placed fourth at the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships and eighth at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
