{"id":654424,"date":"2026-09-29T00:47:56","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T07:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=654424"},"modified":"2026-09-29T00:47:56","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T07:47:56","slug":"olivia-smoliga-to-join-csl-broadcast-team-for-match-3-at-stanford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/olivia-smoliga-to-join-csl-broadcast-team-for-match-3-at-stanford\/","title":{"rendered":"Olivia Smoliga to Join CSL Broadcast Team for Match 3 at Stanford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Olivia Smoliga to Join CSL Broadcast Team for Match 3 at Stanford<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The College Swimming League (CSL) has added some more star power to its broadcast team.<\/p>\n<p>The CSL announced on Monday that Olympian <strong>Olivia Smoliga<\/strong> will join the team for the third match at Stanford on Friday, Oct. 2.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collegeswimmingleague.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSL <\/a>brings an unmatched hype to swimming &#8211; this tourney is something I wish existed when I swam for Georgia,&#8221; Olivia Smoliga said.<\/p>\n<p>Smoliga, a two-time Olympian, will follow fellow Olympian and Georgia swimming legend <strong>Brittany<\/strong> <strong>MacLean<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/csl-hires-two-time-olympian-brittany-maclean-as-analyst-for-first-stop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who was on the broadcast<\/a> for the first two meets.<\/p>\n<p>They swam together at Georgia and brought the Bulldogs an NCAA championship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t wait to get some pointers from my big sis Brittany MacLean who was on the last two matches like a boss,&#8221; Smoliga said in a reel on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Smoliga still a competitive swimmer and trains in\u00a0Frisco, Texas, to swim with Texas Ford Aquatics with <strong>Coley Stickels<\/strong>. She has joined several other avenues of the sport. She has her own podcast &#8220;In Deep With Olivia Smoliga&#8221; and started the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/olivia-smoliga-focused-on-learning-giving-back-in-her-comeback\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In Depth Swim Academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This will be another way for her to make a mark in the sport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am finding a groove now,\u201d Smoliga told <em>Swimming World<\/em>. \u201cI am definitely stretching myself.
