Sprinter Leah Inman Verbally Commits to Florida for 2028-29 Season<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Florida has received a new verbal commitment for Fall 2028 from\u00a0Leah Inman\u00a0<\/strong>of Omaha, Neb. Inman, a Junior National qualifier, is among the top sprinters in the class.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Isabelle Green<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Gainesville as a member of the Gators’ Class of 2032.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so grateful and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Florida! I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for their constant support throughout this journey. I am also incredibly thankful to the coaching staff at UF for giving me this amazing opportunity! Go Gators!!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Inman, who trains year-round with Swim Omaha, most recently competed at Junior Nationals where she finaled in the 50m free and 100m free. She earned gold in the 50m free and bronze in the 100m free at Columbia Speedo Sectionals in July where she also took sixth in the 200m IM.<\/p>\n

Last winter, she placed 22nd in the 100 free and 24th in the 50 free at Juniors West before going on to record four top-10 finishes at Columbia Speedo Sectionals, highlighted by a third-place showing in the 50 free.<\/p>\n
