Virginia Snags 2028 Verbal From YMCA Nationals 100 Breast Champion Skylar Zuleger<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Virginia continues to grow a very impressive Class of 2023 recruiting cohort, earning a verbal commitment from Advance, N.C. native Skylar Zuleger<\/strong>. Zuleger, a Summer Nationals qualifier, is among the best breaststrokers in this class.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Lane Francis<\/strong><\/a>, Alex Siegel<\/strong><\/a>, Karina Plaza<\/strong><\/a>, Allison Kelly<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Shelby Hutchinson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Charlottesville in Fall 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

Zuleger trains year-round with Northwest North Carolina YMCA Riptyde and most recently placed 20th in the 50m breast at USA Swimming Summer Nationals in August. She won the 100 breast and earned bronze in the 200 breast at YMCA Short Course Nationals in April.<\/p>\n
