Hunter Armstrong Retires for \u2018New Chapter\u2019 of Racing<\/strong><\/p>\n

American Olympian Hunter Armstrong<\/strong> on Thursday announced he is saying goodbye to professional swimming for, \u201ca new chapter\u201d in which he will continue racing.<\/p>\n

Armstrong competed in the first Enhanced Games, but with the have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too stance of not partaking in performance-enhancing drugs<\/a>. He said it was to preserve his eligibility for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. At least part of that plan has changed.<\/p>\n

Armstrong posted the message on social media, thanking USA Swimming and World Aquatics.<\/p>\n
