Holzer specializes in butterfly and IM.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>gm<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>&#8220;I\u2019m incredibly blessed and honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Boston College! A huge thank you to my family, friends, and coaches for all of their support throughout this journey, especially Coach Matt for your guidance and helping shape me into the athlete I am today. To my parents, thank you for your endless love, sacrifices, and support. I truly wouldn\u2019t be here without you today. Lastly, I want to thank Coach Dara, Coach Bruno, and the entire Boston College staff for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I can\u2019t wait to see what the future holds in Chestnut Hill. GO EAGLES!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Holzer, who does her club swimming with Germantown Academy Aquatic Club, most recently competed at NCSA Summer Championships where she finaled in the 400m IM. Back in March, she placed fifth in both the 200 fly and 200 IM at St. Mary&#8217;s City Speedo Sectionals, also taking seventh in the 100 fly.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 fly &#8211; 26.71<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 56.79<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 2:05.40<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:06.11<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:27.31<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at Notre Dame Academy, Holzer placed fourth in the 100 fly and seventh in the 500 free at the 2025 National Catholic High School Championships during her freshman year.<\/p>\n<p>Holzer is a great pickup for the Eagles.
