SEC Championships Format Moves to Seven Days<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Southeastern Conference has (SEC) established a scheduling format for the 2027 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships, which will take place Feb. 14-20, 2027, at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

All sessions of the 2027 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships will air on SEC Network+.<\/p>\n

The meet will move from five days to seven days as diving will have the water first.<\/p>\n

Here is the breakdown of the SEC finals each day:<\/p>\n

Day 1 (Sunday, Feb. 14):<\/strong> men’s 1-meter diving, women’s 3-meter diving<\/p>\n

Day 2:<\/strong> women’s 1-meter diving, men’s 3-meter diving<\/p>\n

Day 3:<\/strong> 200 medley relay, 800 free relay, women’s platform diving<\/p>\n

Day 4:<\/strong> 100 backstroke 200 butterfly, 100 breaststroke, men’s platform diving<\/p>\n

Day 5:<\/strong> 100 butterfly, 400 IM, 200 free, 400 medley relay<\/p>\n

Day 6:<\/strong> 200 breaststroke 50 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 200 free relay<\/p>\n

Day 7:<\/strong> 200 IM, 100 free, 200 back, 400 free relay.<\/p>\n

SEC Prelims for the diving events Sunday and Monday will begin at noon local time (CST). The 1650 free heats will begin at 11:30 on Day 3 and the rest of the days will begin at 9:30 a.m. The finals will be 5 p.m. for the first three nights, then 5:30 p.m. for the rest of the week.<\/p>\n

The 2026 SEC Championship meet had a different format and was five days.<\/p>\n

Day 1: 1650 freestyle, 1-meter diving and the 800 free relay.<\/p>\n
