Seven swimmers have been pre-nominated for the Sweden team for the World Short-Course Championships in Beijing in December.<\/p>\n
Sara Junevik, Victor Johansson<\/strong> and Robin Hanson<\/strong> are among the swimmers put forward for the event which runs from 1-6 December in the Chinese capital.<\/p>\n The selection was based on the European Championships in Paris in which Junevik won 50 fly bronze, one of three Swedish medals with Sarah<\/strong> Sj\u00f6str\u00f6m <\/strong>winning gold and silver on her return a year after becoming a first-time mother.<\/p>\n Qualification for the team is open until 10 November with head coach Martina Aronsson<\/strong> saying through the Swedish federation: “We are very excited to announce these seven pre-nominated swimmers. This gives us a strong starting point for the Short Course World Championships, while the qualifying period is still open and a lot can happen until November 10.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: “We are strengthened by this summer’s European Championships, where we competed against the absolute world elite.
