Most recently, Gonzalez starred at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omegatiming.com\/2026\/european-aquatics-swimming-championships--live-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Championships<\/a>, where he earned the silver medal in the 200-meter individual medley, pushing champion Hubert Kos to the wall.<\/p>\n<p>En route to a runnerup finish in the 200 IM in Paris, Gonzalez clocked a time of 1:54.44, an effort that made him the No. 6 performer in the history of the event.
