Yale Secures 2027 Verbal From Junior National Finalist Evan Pan-Wang<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Plano, Texas native\u00a0Evan Pan-Wang\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his verbal commitment* to Yale University beginning in Fall 2027. Pan-Wang is an incredibly versatile swimmer who owns Junior National cuts in nine different events.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Fin McLane<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Bulldogs’ Class of 2031.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim at Yale. I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me and made this possible. Go Bulldogs!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pan-Wang, who does his club swimming with Metroplex Aquatics, placed seventh in the 100 fly, 14th in the 100 free and 16th in the 100 back at Juniors West in December. He then went on to win the 100 back and take third in the 100 fly at Justin Speedo Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, he finished sixth in the 100m free at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
