It was also 0.09 off the championship record.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the Olympic Pool for the shorter race, Muratory was the only man to break 55secs in 54.60, 0.15 quicker than his bronze medal-winning time from Samorin 2025. <strong>Mikhail Shcherbakov<\/strong> (AIN) was second into the semis in 55.20.<\/p>\n<p>Just 0.01 separated <strong>Varvara Filippova<\/strong> and <strong>Irene Ciercoles Galve<\/strong> in the women\u2019s 100 back with the Neutral Athlete heading the field in 1:01.26 to 1:01.27. <strong>Jeanne Lechevalier<\/strong> \u2013 who shared the 200 back title with Hungarian <strong>Fanni Kokas<\/strong> on Friday as France enjoyed double gold \u2013 was next through in 1:01.45.<\/p>\n<p>The first three men in the 50 fly were separated by just 0.01. <strong>Jan Foltyn<\/strong> was back in the water after winning the 50 free with the Czechia athlete posting 23.74 to share the top time with <strong>David Antal<\/strong> of Hungary, the 200 fly champion. Defending champion <strong>Dean Fearn<\/strong> of Great Britain posted the third top time of 23.75<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luca Hoek<\/strong> returned from winning 50 free silver to head the 100 free prelims in 49.11 ahead of Neutral Athletes <strong>Matvei Miliaev<\/strong> (49.20) and <strong>Egor Proshin<\/strong> (49.27). Proshin led off the AIN men\u2019s 4&#215;1 squad in 47.94 on the opening night as they set a world junior record so there\u2019s clearly more to come there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evangelos Ntoumas<\/strong> headed the men\u2019s 100m breaststroke with the Greek swimmer &#8211; who won silver behind <strong>Filip Nowacki<\/strong> at the 2025 edition in Samorin \u2013 clocking 1:01.08. <strong>Max Morgan<\/strong> \u2013 the 50 breast champion in Munich \u2013 was tied with Germany\u2019s <strong>Louis Hoffman<\/strong> in 1:01.44. <strong>Doruk Yogurtcuoglu, <\/strong>who set a Turkish record of 2:09.43 en-route to the 200 title on Friday, safely progressed in sixth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sofia Anufrieva<\/strong> was the only woman to break 1:09 in the women\u2019s event, going 1:08.92; <strong>Andreanne Bourseul<\/strong> of France led the women\u2019s 50 fly in 26.47 and <strong>Anna Rzaeva<\/strong> (AIN) led the 200IM in 2:15.92 with defending champion <strong>Amalie Smith<\/strong> having returned to Britain ahead of the Commonwealth Games.<\/p>\n<p>The Neutral Athletes squad were well clear in the men\u2019s 4&#215;200 relay prelims in 7:16.77 ahead of Germany
