However, an issue at the beginning of the race resulted in a staggered start and one swimmer remaining at the wall.<\/p>\n<p>The outcome was that the race be rescheduled for 6pm on Thursday. <strong>Mewen Tomac<\/strong> was first at the turn, 0.47 ahead of Ndoye Brouard whose 27.28 second 50 moved him from third to first in 53.44 with Tomac (53.68) also within the cut for Paris 2026. <strong>Jules Andre<\/strong> was third in 54.20.<\/p>\n<p>The six-day meet has doubled as trials for the European Championships in Paris next month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nikita Baez<\/strong> also booked his ticket with a 21.93 victory in the 50 free ahead of <strong>Cedric Gabali<\/strong> (22.13) and <strong>Nans Mazellier<\/strong> (22.28).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sauveur Cristofini<\/strong> has had a fine meet with the 16-year-old sharing the 200 free title with <strong>Roman Fuchs<\/strong> to cement his place at a home showcase. That followed third place in the 100 free and on Thursday he enjoyed a clear victory by almost four seconds in the 400 free in an age group record of 3:47.99, 0.30 off the cut. <strong>Pierre Largeron<\/strong> was second in 3:50.83.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexa Reyna<\/strong> won the women\u2019s 400 free (4:12.59), <strong>Emilien Mattenet<\/strong> took the men\u2019s 200IM (2:01.42) and
