She owns several Cayman Islands national records.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>&#8220;I am so thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama! I would like to thank my coaches, my family, friends and God for helping and supporting me along this ongoing journey. And a very special thank you to Coach Margo and Coach Catie at Alabama for this amazing opportunity. I\u2019m so honored to be a part of the tide. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Broadbelt trains year-round with Seven Mile Swimmers. A versatile swimmer, she excels in freestyle, backstroke and butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>Broadbelt had a great showing at the 2026 XXXIX CARIFTA Aquatic Championships back in April. There, she won the 100m fly, 200m fly, 50m back and 200m back while taking second in the 100m back and fourth in the 100m free. She earned seven gold medals &#8211; all of her individual events &#8211; at the Cayman Islands National Championships in February.<\/p>\n<p>In LCM, her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50m free &#8211; 27.46<\/li>\n<li>100m free &#8211; 56.40<\/li>\n<li>50m back &#8211; 29.86<\/li>\n<li>100m back &#8211; 1:04.39<\/li>\n<li>200m back &#8211; 2:21.51<\/li>\n<li>50m fly &#8211; 28.23<\/li>\n<li>100m fly &#8211; 1:02.11<\/li>\n<li>200m fly &#8211; 2:16.69<\/li>\n<li>200m IM &#8211; 2:26.13<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In SCY, those times convert to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 23.89<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 49.23<\/li>\n<li>50 back &#8211; 25.44<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 55.05<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:03.00<\/li>\n<li>50 fly &#8211; 24.70<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 54.53<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:59.74<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:06.69<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Last summer, she competed at the 10th World Aquatics Junior Championships, racing five events and two relays.
