and Hannah Casey Wrap Up Winning Weekend For Bond<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paris Olympians <strong>Flynn Southam<\/strong> and <strong>Ben Armbruster<\/strong> and rising freestyle sprinter <strong>Hannah Casey<\/strong> have wrapped up a winning weekend for Bond University Swimming at the 2026 NSW Sydney Open And UniSport Nationals Meet.<\/p>\n<p>The trio produced the stand-out performances in a Bond team that achieved wins right across the board over the three days of competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Southam out-touched Sydney\u2019s teenage sprint prodigy <strong>Ollie Moclair<\/strong> (Cranbrook, NSW) and Japan\u2019s <strong>Shuya Matsumoto<\/strong> in a blanket finish in the 50m freestyle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>Chris Mooney<\/strong>-coach Southam, who has a personal best of 21.85, touched in 22.20; Moclair, who recently clocked his pb of 21.73, touched second in 22.24 with Matsumoto another touch away in 22.38.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moclair and Southam will return to the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre in three weeks with the man-of-the-moment, Olympic, two-time World champion and world record holder <strong>Cam McEvoy<\/strong> waiting in the wings for the Australian Trials Meet (June 7-13).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Places on the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and Pan Pac Teams await \u2013 with McEvoy focused purely on Glasgow, declaring he won\u2019t swim in Irvine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Casey completed the 50, 100 and 200m freestyle treble, winning the 200m freestyle in 1:59.00 after taking the 50m freestyle in 25.27 and the 100m in 54.56; also finishing second in the 400m freestyle in 4:17.42.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 20-year-old putting the finishing touches to her Trials prep with an all-important weekend of racing as she looks towards the always much anticipated women\u2019s 100 and 200m freestyle events \u2013 as the Australians look to continue their world domination heading towards LA28.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While Armbruster also shone \u2013 adding his third title for the three-day meet in the 100m butterfly in 51.73 to his 50m fly win in 24.46 and his 50m backstroke title in 25.46.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And only just missing the podium in the 50m freestyle, his 22.42
