Freestyler Beau Joens Hands 2027 Verbal to Army West Point<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The United States Military Academy at West Point has secured a new verbal commitment for the 2027-28 season and beyond from\u00a0Beau Joens<\/strong> of Golden, Colorado. Joens is a Junior National qualifier who excels in freestyle.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Kohlston Katz<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in West Point as a member of the Black Knights’ Class of 2031.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim Division I at the United States Military Academy at West Point! A huge thank you to the Army coaching staff for this incredible opportunity. To my incredible parents, my big brother, my amazing coaches (Kyle, Tim C., Ethan, and Tim H.), and my teammates\u2014thank you for pushing me and giving me pathways for success. I\u2019m also grateful to my Lakewood High School teachers and admin for the endless support. Go Army! Beat Navy!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Joens does his club swimming with North Jeffco Swim Team and competed at Juniors West back in December before going on to final in two events at Four Corners Speedo Sectionals last month. Last summer, he earned four best times at Greensboro Futures.<\/p>\n
