Imoudu sprinted his lap in 26.57, which cut .05 off his previous national record, set in 2024. Imoudu was fifth in the 50 breaststroke at last year&#8217;s World Championships in Singapore and should be a medal contender at this summer&#8217;s European Championships in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to lowering the German record in the 50 breaststroke, Imoudu clocked a time of 59.33 to capture first place in the 100 breaststroke. In the 50 distance, Imoudu finished well ahead of <strong>Jan Malte Grafe<\/strong>, who checked in with a swim of 27.29. On the women&#8217;s side, veteran <strong>Anna Elendt<\/strong> was the victor, going 30.54.<\/p>\n<p>Best known for her talent in the long-distance freestyle events, <strong>Isabel Gose<\/strong> showed her skill in a shorter discipline by winning the 200 freestyle over <strong>Nicole Maier<\/strong>. Fourth at the midway point of the race, Gose reeled in her opposition over the closing 100 meters and prevailed in 1:57.69. That outing was slightly ahead of the 1:57.85 of Maier, who was followed by <strong>Nina Holt<\/strong> (1:58.11).<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 200 freestyle, <strong>Timo Sorgius<\/strong> secured a come-from-behind victory over <strong>Jarno B\u00e4schnitt<\/strong>, 1:46.17 to 1:46.50. Sorgius faced a .13 deficit heading into the last lap, but a closing split of 27.40 was enough to overhaul B\u00e4schnitt, who split 27.86 over the last 50 meters. <strong>Christian Giefing<\/strong> was the third-place finisher in 1:47.14. Meanwhile, the title in the men&#8217;s 200 butterfly was earned by <strong>Bjorn Kammann<\/strong> in 1:56.66.<\/p>\n<p>Other winners were <strong>Linda Roth<\/strong> (2:12.47) in the women&#8217;s 200 individual medley and <strong>Jeremias Pock<\/strong> (1:59.65) in the men&#8217;s 200 IM, where <strong>Cedric B\u00fcssing<\/strong> was the runnerup in 1:59.74. The men&#8217;s 50 backstroke saw <strong>Vincent Passek<\/strong> emerge victorious in 24.85, .04 quicker than <strong>Ole Braunschweig<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a
