FSU Seminoles Earn 2027 Verbal From Backstroker Grayson Brewster<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Florida State University has added to its growing Class of 2031, having recently received a verbal commitment from backstroker Grayson Brewster\u00a0<\/strong>of Waxhaw, North Carolina. Brewster is a Junior National qualifier.<\/p>\n

She will join Thea Bergstr\u00f6m<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Leah Chin<\/strong>,<\/a> Aidyn Reese<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Tallahassee in Fall 2027.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to Florida State University to continue my academic and athletic career! I first want to give my thanks to God and his guidance, my parents, sisters, family and friends for always being supportive and being there for me through this process. I want to thank Coach Sean and Coach Dave at MSA and a huge thank you to Coach Neal and all coaching staff at FSU for giving me this opportunity to be a Seminole… GO NOLES”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Brewster does her club swimming with Mecklenburg Swim Association and most recently placed fifth in the 200 back at Cary Speedo Sectionals last month. She raced both the 100 and 200 back at Juniors East in December as well as the 50m\/100m\/200m back at Junior Nationals last summer. Brewster was the 200m back runner-up at North Carolina LCM Seniors in July 2025.<\/p>\n
