It cut 0.13 off his 21.89 best from the 2024 edition in his second journey inside 22secs.<\/p>\n<p>He clinched his second title of the night in 21.79 and fourth gold overall in his first competition in a year since the 2025 national championships.<\/p>\n<p>The European Championships will mark his first international appearance since his 100m butterfly gold-medal swim at Paris 2024, which was his last international race.<\/p>\n<h3>Jackl Makes It Four Golds; Victories For <strong>S\u00e1rk\u00e1ny &amp; K\u00e9sely<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Vivien Jackl<\/strong> won her fourth title of the meet with a dominant victory in the 400IM. The 17-year-old \u2013 who won silver at the last European Championships in Belgrade in 2024 \u2013 was in oceans of space throughout to touch in 4:40.56. He was 1.66secs ahead of <strong>Kristof Rasovsky<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Christian Giefing<\/strong> at halfway and although <strong>Oliv\u00e9r Papai<\/strong> made his move in the second half of the race, S\u00e1rk\u00e1ny\u2019s lead was never under threat as he came home in 3:48.16. Papai was second in 3:49.16 with Rasovszky taking bronze in 3:49.98 to claim his third medal of the five-day meet.<\/p>\n<p>European champion <strong>Ajna K\u00e9sely<\/strong>\u00a0went ahead on the second 50 of the women\u2019s 400 free and extended her lead thereafter to win in 4:11.56. <strong>Ainhoa Campabadal<\/strong> of Spain was second to touch in 4:14.32 with <strong>Fanni F\u00e1bi\u00e1n <\/strong>pulling away from <strong>Lilla Szab\u00f3 <\/strong>on the final 50 to take silver in 4:15.43 to 4:15.81.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Petra Sen\u00e1nszky <\/strong>won the women\u2019s 50 free in 25.15 with <strong>Gloria Muzito<\/strong> touching second in a Ugandan record of 25.29. <strong>Panna Ugrai<\/strong> added 50 silver to her 100\/200 double in 25.45 with Flora Molnar the third Hungarian home in 26.04.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eszter Szab\u00f3-Felt\u00f3thy <\/strong>won the women\u2019s 200 back in 2:10.55<\/li>\n<li><strong>Benedek Kov\u00e1cs <\/strong>came out on top of the men\u2019s 200 back in 1:57.10<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beatrix Tanko<\/strong> won the women\u2019s 100 fly as she led throughout to touch in 58.52<\/li>\n<li><strong>G\u00e1bor Zombori<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 400IM in 4:15.21<\/li>\n<li><strong>Valentin Bayer <\/strong>of Austria touched first in the men\u2019s 50 breast in 27.48 with <strong>Bence Dikacz<\/strong> taking the title in 28.05<\/li>\n<li><strong>Henrietta Fangli <\/strong>took the women\u2019s 50 breast in
