O\u2019Mara is a Junior National qualifier who will join the Blue Devils\u2019 Class of 2031.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>&#8220;GO BLUE DEVILS!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O\u2019Mara does his club swimming with Irvine Novaquatics. He placed 16th in the 500 free at Juniors West back in December before going on to take 10th in that event as well as 18th in the\u00a0 mile at Oceanside Speedo Sectionals in February. Last summer, he competed at Junior Nationals and notched two best times at the Los Angeles Invitational.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">His best times include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">500 free &#8211; 4:25.39<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1000 free &#8211; 9:19.83<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1650 free &#8211; 15:39.01<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Currently a junior at San Marino High School, O\u2019Mara finished seventh in the 500 free at the 2025 CIF Southern Section Division I Championship. He is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Blue Devils finished 14th at the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2019 with a degree in Public Communication and a double minor in Coaching and Sports Management.
