Olympic silver medallist Roman Mityukov<\/strong> powered away on the second half of the 200 back to go top of the rankings at the Swiss Championships<\/strong> in Uster.<\/p>\n
Mityukov was 0.24 ahead of Flavio Bucca<\/strong> at the first turn but his lead was cut to just 0.02 at halfway.\u00a0The double world medallist pulled away on the third length and a 29.25 final 50 propelled him into the wall in 1:55.36, 0.53 off his 1:54.83 Swiss record set at the 2025 worlds in Singapore.<\/p>\n
It was his second title of the meet following victory over 50m and saw him displace Pieter Coetze<\/strong> and Hidekazu Takehara<\/strong> who\u2019d shared top spot after each going 1:55.57 at the China Open and Japan Swim respectively.<\/p>\n
Bucca came home 2.12secs behind in 1:57.48 with Leon Opatril<\/strong> third in 2:04.59.<\/p>\n
Antoine Viquerat<\/strong> claimed his second breaststroke gold in as many days when he was the only man to break 28secs in the 50, clocking 27.88. It followed his 200 breaststroke title and silver over 100m.<\/p>\n
No\u00e8 Ponti<\/strong> was second in 28.13 with Leo Messerli<\/strong> third in 28.35. World silver medallist Ponti didn\u2019t compete in the 100 fly where Robin Yeboah<\/strong> was the only man to break 54secs, lifting the crown in 53.10.<\/p>\n

Vanna Djakovic enjoyed a winning margin of 12.33 secs as she added the 400 free title to her 800 gold in 4:17.63<\/li>\n
Loane Richard came from fourth at halfway to win the women\u2019s 100 fly in 1:00.26<\/li>\n
Gaia Rasmussen won the women\u2019s 200 back in 2:12.79<\/li>\n
Havana Cueto Cabrera won the women\u2019s 50 breast in 32.08 as Kay-Lyn L\u00f6hr added silver in 32.17 to her 100\/200 double gold<\/li>\n
