Breaststroker Jordyn Kendler Verbally Commits to Army for 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Breaststroker\u00a0Jordyn Kendler\u00a0<\/strong>of Folsom, Calif., has announced her verbal commitment to the United States Military Academy at West Point and will arrive on campus in Fall 2027.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Amelie Meyer<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Black Knights’ Class of 2031.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am incredibly blessed and honored to announce my verbal commitment to advance my academic and athletic career at the United States Military Academy at West Point! I am so humbled to join the Long Gray Line and to have the opportunity to serve my country while pursuing my own career. First and foremost, I would like to give all glory to God, for without Him I would have never had the strength to make it this far. My teammates, friends, and especially family have shown me nothing but love and support throughout this entire journey and I would have never been able to achieve this without them. I would like to also give a huge shoutout to Coach Tim, Coach Kent, and Coach Kyle for fostering my love for this sport and always pushing me to be my best-in and out of the pool. Thank you so much to Coach Megan and the rest of the Army coaching staff for providing me with this amazing opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself. And to the entirety of AWSD, thank you for welcoming me into your family. As always, GO ARMY BEAT NAVY”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kendler does her club swimming with Sierra Marlins Swim Team and most recently competed at Roseville Speedo Sectionals where she placed fifth in the 50 breast with a new personal best time of 29.41. Back in December, she finaled in both the 50 breast and 100 breast at Walnut Speedo Sectionals and she competed at Sacramento Futures last summer.<\/p>\n
