{"id":639764,"date":"2026-03-24T21:29:19","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T04:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=639764"},"modified":"2026-03-24T21:29:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T04:29:19","slug":"jack-hill-kaley-mcintyre-named-division-iii-swimmers-of-the-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/jack-hill-kaley-mcintyre-named-division-iii-swimmers-of-the-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Jack Hill, Kaley McIntyre Named Division III Swimmers of the Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jack Hill, Kaley McIntyre Named Division III Swimmers of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Denison\u2019s <strong>Jack Hill<\/strong> and NYU\u2019s <strong>Kaley McIntyre<\/strong> added to their NCAA Division III titles with Swimmer of the Year nods <a href=\"https:\/\/cscaa.org\/cscaa-announces-2026-division-iii-coach-athlete-of-the-year-awards-all-america-selections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Tuesday from CSCAA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America on Tuesday released the list of All-American honorees following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-division-iii-championships-day-4-finals-denison-repeats-as-mens-champions-nyu-women-finish-off-dominant-meet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last weekend\u2019s Division III Championships in Indianapolis<\/a>. NYU led the way with 50 women\u2019s honorees and 44 men\u2019s honors among 463 total.<\/p>\n<p>Emory was second among honors on the women\u2019s side with 46, followed by 39 each for Denison and MIT and 38 for Kenyon. National champion Denison was second among men\u2019s honorees, with Emory third at 40.<\/p>\n<p>McIntyre wrapped up her stellar career with the team NCAA championship and her third consecutive CSCAA Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Year honor. She won the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle for the fourth straight year, and the 100 free for the third straight year. She also led the Violets\u2019 200 free and 400 free relay teams to wins. The senior is an 11-time individual national champion and 15-time overall NCAA champion.<\/p>\n<p>NYU\u2019s <strong>Trevor Miele<\/strong> was named CSCAA Women\u2019s Swim Coach of the Year. After a runner-up finish last 202t to MIT, the Violets won their first title this season. Miele has improved NYU\u2019s placing every year, from fifth in 2023 to third in 2024 when Miele earned this honor in a steady climb to the program\u2019s first title.<\/p>\n<p>Hill led Denison to a second straight title. He set NCAA records on the way to titles in the 100 free and 00 free and was second in the 200 individual medley. He helped Denison set an NCAA record in the 800 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>Carleton diver <strong>Nina Schwab<\/strong> was named Women\u2019s Diver of the Year. She won the 1-meter title and finished second on 3-meter. Her coach, <strong>Gabe Kortuem,<\/strong> earned Women\u2019s Diving Coach of the Year recognition.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s Coach of the Year honor was split between Denison\u2019s <strong>Gregg Parini<\/strong> and <strong>Peter Casares<\/strong> of Bates. Parini led the Big Red to a second straight title and seventh overall. It\u2019s the eighth time he\u2019s won this award at the NCAA D3 level and 13th overall. Casares led Bates to the program\u2019s best finish, a sixth-place result that improves from 13th place last year.<\/p>\n<p>Denison also swept the diving honors. <strong>Nick Fogle<\/strong> was named Men\u2019s Diver of the Year by sweeping both springboard titles. <strong>Kai Robinson,<\/strong> in his first season coaching Big Red divers, was named Men\u2019s Diving Coach of the Year, leading both Fogle and second-team All-American Brendan Stanley.<\/p>\n<p>The full list of All-Americans <a
