Tes Schouten<\/strong> found herself on top of the podium at the Flanders Cup<\/strong> in Antwerp as she continues her progress since returning to competitive waters.<\/p>\n
The Netherlands swimmer has been developing step by step following a lengthy absence after she was hospitalised in November 2024 with nerve pain, loss of power and function on the entire left side of her body.<\/p>\n
She withdrew from the 2025 worlds<\/a> in Singapore as she was still experiencing extreme fatigue and pain on a daily basis.<\/p>\n
Schouten \u2013 who won 200m breaststroke bronze at the Paris Olympics \u2013 moved to Antwerp where she reunited with coach Mark Faber, training alongside the likes of Roos Vanotterdijk, Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> and Florine Gaspard.<\/strong><\/p>\n
