VERY little movement in the CSCAA Dual Meet poll was evident for the current polling period. Notably however, Princeton, having begun its season for both men and women represented the Ivy league in this poll.

At this point, the Auburn Tigers will begin the New Year still perched atop both the men’s and women’s polls. January will begin the official Championship season for swimming and diving with many traditional rivalries occurring in January and February. The Conference Championships will begin in late February and early March, marking the end of the dual meet season.

Women’s NCAA Championship will be at the Texas A&M Natatorium March 18-20, 2004. The Men’s Championship will be held at the Nassau County Natatorium in Long Island, NY March 25-27, 2004.

Because of the Olympic year, both championships will be held in short-course meters as opposed to the traditional short-course yards format. This is being done to allow NCAA swimmers to break and set world records which are only kept in short-course meters and long-course meters formats.

The next poll will take place Tuesday, January 13 and will continue throughout the season. The final poll of the season will take place on March 8, 2003 when a national dual meet champion will be crowned by the CSCAA.

College Swim Coaches Association (CSCAA)
Division I Swimming and Diving Team
Dual Meet Rankings
Dec. 11, 2003)

Rank MEN’S DIV.
