The reward is 4-for-4 in conference championships in the program&#8217;s Big 12 era.<\/p>\n<p>The Arizona State women won by 218 points to clinch their second straight title. For the men, the final margin is 346 points, sealing their fourth straight conference title, which includes the final two Pac-12 Championships. But he\u2019s got some distance left in his legs.<\/p>\n<p>Chaney went 1:38.33 to win the 200 back. That downs the 2019 meet record of Texas\u2019 <strong>Ryan Harty<\/strong> at 1:38.16. It&#8217;s a best time for Chaney, who had been 1:39.59 in a dual meet in November.<\/p>\n<p>ASU went 1-2 for not the first time this meet, with <strong>JT Ewing<\/strong> jumping from fifth in prelims to second in 1:39.72. Arizona\u2019s <strong>Alex Desangles<\/strong> got another podium spot in third in 1:41.43, with teammate Ryan Hardy fifth. She can add a third individual title to the mix, with a meet record time of 47.42 seconds. That downs <strong>Claire Adams\u2019<\/strong> 2022 record of 47.46. Adams\u2019 time of 47.32 from 2018 remains the conference mark.<\/p>\n<p>The final produced only two A cuts. Fellow Sun Devil <strong>Quin Seider<\/strong> finished fourth, with Arizona State in spots six through eight. Arizona broke the blockade with <strong>Thomas Lukminas<\/strong> fourth in 41.91 and <strong>Ralph Daleiden Ciuferri<\/strong> fifth in 42.16. Reyna was second in 16:18.42. That\u2019s the order they finished in the 500 free. It\u2019s a best time by that same margin.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona State\u2019s <strong>Noah Mudadu<\/strong> went 15:02.39, the points pushing the Sun Devils\u2019 lead over 200 points.
