The four-day competition is scheduled for March 19-22, and the meet will include Olympic gold medalists <strong>Cam McEvoy<\/strong> (Australia), <strong>Nicolo Martinenghi<\/strong> (Italy), <strong>Mollie<\/strong> <strong>O&#8217;Callaghan<\/strong> (Australia), <strong>Lukas M\u00e4rtens<\/strong> (Germany), <strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> (United States), <strong>Thomas Ceccon<\/strong> (Italy), <strong>Kyle<\/strong> <strong>Chalmers<\/strong> (Australia), <strong>Regan Smith<\/strong> (United States), <strong>Gretchen Walsh<\/strong> (United States), <strong>Lani Pallister<\/strong> (Australia) and <strong>Jack<\/strong> <strong>Alexy<\/strong> (United States).<\/p>\n<p>China will be represented by its biggest names in the sport, including Olympic gold medalist <strong>Pan Zhanle<\/strong> (100 freestyle) and 13-year-old rising star <strong>Yu Zidi<\/strong>, who is the Asian record-holder in the 200 individual medley. In addition to the Olympic champions slated to compete, Olympic medalists <strong>Kliment Kolesnikov<\/strong> (Russia), <strong>Arno Kamminga<\/strong> (Netherlands), <strong>Alex<\/strong> <strong>Walsh<\/strong> (United States), <strong>Siobhan Haughey<\/strong> (Hong Kong) and <strong>Noe Ponti<\/strong> (Switzerland) will compete.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the field of foreign stars scheduled to compete will be <strong>Pieter Coetze<\/strong> (South Africa), the reigning world champion in the 100 backstroke.<\/p>\n<p>Because there is no global championship meet this year, the China Open will provide an opportunity for European athletes like M\u00e4rtens and Ceccon to race against the best from the United States, Australia and
