She is a talented sprint freestyler with Junior National cuts.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8220;I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at NC State University. I want to give the biggest thanks to my friends, teammates, family, Coach Keller and Coach Alec for always supporting me. I also want to give a huge thank you to Coach Braden, Coach Stef, and the whole NC State coaching staff. I am so grateful for this opportunity and can\u2019t wait to be apart of this amazing team. GO PACK!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Paton does her club swimming with Fishers Area Swimming Tigers. She most recently won six events at last month&#8217;s FAST Winter Classic while hitting best times in six different races.
