The men&#8217;s team continued its run behind world champion <strong>Luca Urlando<\/strong> with a 191-112 win, while the women&#8217;s final score was Georgia 190, Emory 106.<\/p>\n<p>Urlando swam the butterfly leg of the Bulldogs&#8217; 200 medley relay, splitting 19.84 and teaming with\u00a0<strong>Tane Bidois<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Finn Wendland<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Tomas Koski<\/strong> to win in 1:26.54. Not long after, Urlando won the 200 freestyle in 1:33.29, and he added a top result in the 200 backstroke. Urlando trailed teammate and backstroke specialist <strong>Ruard Van Renen<\/strong> by more than a second with 50 yards remaining, but he accelerated to win by eight hundredths, 1:40.40 to 1:40.48.<\/p>\n<p>Bidois added an individual win in the 100 free (43.56) while Wendland topped the 200 breaststroke (1:59.02). Koski was the best in the field in the 500 free (4:17.93). The team of Urlando, Bidois, Koski and\u00a0<strong>Kris Mihaylov<\/strong> dominated the 200 free relay in 1:19.13.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Finn Hammer<\/strong> was the winner of the 1650 free (15:07.39) while <strong>Sascha Macht<\/strong> took first in the 100 back (48.02). Mihaylov was the wire-to-wire winner of the 200 fly (1:46.40).\u00a0<strong>Roman Valdez<\/strong> was the only swimmer under 20 in the 50 free (19.95). In the 100 fly,\u00a0<strong>Cale Martter<\/strong> pulled away to win in 47.76. Diver\u00a0<strong>Matthew Bray<\/strong> topped the field on 1-meter (349.80) and 3-meter (428.33), and <strong>Drew Hitchcock<\/strong> won the 400 IM (3:45.13).<\/p>\n<p>Emory&#8217;s first win belonged to\u00a0<strong>Henri Bonnault<\/strong> in the 100 breast (54.28), and\u00a0<strong>Carson Kalish<\/strong>\u00a0held on for a triumph in the 200 IM (1:48.83).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college swimming news<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Freshman\u00a0<strong>Kennedi Dobson<\/strong> continued to show her versatility with wins in the 100 back (52.57), 200 back (1:54.08). <strong>Marie Landreneau<\/strong> also pulled off multiple wins, topping the 100 breast (1:00.95) and 200 IM (1:59.69). <strong>Izzy Beu<\/strong> was dominant in the 200 fly (1:57.39) before scoring a come-from-behind triumph in the 100 fly (53.27). In diving, <strong>Michelle Cummo<\/strong> won 1-meter (272.78) and 3-meter (285.83).<\/p>\n<p>Georgia&#8217;s women started out with a win in the 200 medley relay, featuring\u00a0<strong>Ieva Maluka<\/strong>,<strong> Charlotte Headland<\/strong>, <strong>Hayden Hollingsworth<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Katie Belle Sikes<\/strong> clocking 1:37.45. Sikes returned for the win in the 50 free (22.49) while Headland was first in the 200 breast (2:11.12). Maluka grabbed the win in the 500 free with a time of 4:44.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kylie McMurray<\/strong> was the winner of the 1000 free (10:01.27) while\u00a0<strong>Maeve Eckerman<\/strong> took the 200 free (1:48.31). <strong>Emma Norton<\/strong> won the 100 free in 49.59, and\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Tilt<\/strong> was the winner of a close race in the 400 IM (4:18.59).
