The Missouri women earned a 180-120 win while Kentucky, fresh off <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/falemana-tuufui-lowers-kentucky-record-in-50-free-in-sweep-of-notre-dame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sweeping Notre Dame a day earlier<\/a>, won the men&#8217;s meet 168.5-131.5.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri won the 200 medley relay in 1:37.75 with a team of\u00a0<strong>Annabelle Wentzel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zara Zallen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kylee Sullivan<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Francesca Smith<\/strong>. Zallen followed with a strong result in the 200 free (1:47.03) and another win in the 100 free (48.90) while Smith was first in the 50 free (22.79). <strong>Libby Bakker<\/strong> topped the 100 backstroke (53.67) while\u00a0<strong>Lina Bank\u00a0<\/strong>was first in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.14) and 200 breast (2:11.86).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maeve DeYoung<\/strong> was the only swimmer under 2:00 in the 200 butterfly (1:59.75) while\u00a0<strong>Paige Striley<\/strong> won the 100-yard event of the same stroke (53.92). In diving, Missouri&#8217;s <strong>Gaby Carmona<\/strong> won 3-meter (343.65), and the Missouri team of Zallen, Smith, Bank and <strong>Katie Kuehn<\/strong> finished off the meet with a win in the 200 free relay (1:31.18).<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katy Jost<\/strong> got her team&#8217;s first win in the 1000 free (9:56.07), and she won again in the 500 free (4:49.63). <strong>Fernanda De Goeij<\/strong> topped the 200 back (1:55.34), and\u00a0<strong>Hayden Penny<\/strong> dominated the 400 IM (4:12.89). <strong>Avery Giese<\/strong> won 1-meter diving (278.48).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college swimming news<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Kentucky men began their day with a triumphant performance in the 200 medley relay, with\u00a0<strong>Lysander Osman<\/strong>, <strong>Adomas Gatulis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Falemana Tuufui<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>AJ Terry<\/strong> clocking 1:24.88. Gatulis dominated the 100 breast in 52.89, and Tuufui dominated the 50 free in 19.20, and he came from behind to take first in the 100 free (43.11)<\/p>\n<p>Distance standout<strong>\u00a0Carson Hick<\/strong> topped the 1000 free by more than 10 seconds in 8:52.05 while\u00a0<strong>Devin Naoroz<\/strong> won the 200 back (1:43.39).\u00a0<strong>Dziugas Miskinis<\/strong> was the winner of the 500 free (4:25.54), and\u00a0<strong>Levi Sandidge\u00a0<\/strong>picked up a victory in the 400 IM (3:42.55). In the 200 free relay, Tuufui led off in 19.27, just 0.07 off his Wildcats team record set Friday, and he teamed with Osman,\u00a0<strong>Justin Peresse<\/strong> and Terry to take first in 1:17.79.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Oliver Millan de Miguel<\/strong> won the 200 free (1:37.15), and teammate\u00a0<strong>Quinlan Gould<\/strong> won the 100 back (46.41).\u00a0<strong>Jan Zubik<\/strong> paced the field in the 200 fly (1:43.11) and 100 fly (47.04), and <strong>Matthew Mortenson<\/strong> electrified the field on the back half to take first in the 200 breast.
