The USC men beat UNLV 180-82 and UC San Diego 174-87. The USC women beat UNLV 215-46 and UC San Diego 189-73.<\/p>\n<p>Both 200 medley relay squads opened the meet with victories. On the women&#8217;s side <strong>Dora Molnar, Bella Brito, Sage Mille<\/strong>r and <strong>Nicole Maier<\/strong> combined to finish with a time of 1:39.15 to take the event. <strong>Vaggelis Makrygiannis, Michal Chmielewski, Junhao Chan<\/strong> and <strong>Oliver Sogaard-Anderso<\/strong>n came in at 1:25.69 to take it on the men&#8217;s side.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minna Abraham<\/strong> captured the 1000 free with a massive swim, touching the wall at 9:39.36. The time marks the sixth fastest time in program history.<\/p>\n<p>The Trojans swept the 200 free, with <strong>Bella Brito<\/strong> finishing with a time of 1:47.79 for the women and <strong>Krzysztof Chmielewski<\/strong> at 1:35.23 for the men.<\/p>\n<p>Krzysztof was a double winner, securing the victory in the 100 fly with a time of 46.86.<\/p>\n<p>Makrygiannis met the qualifying standard in two events. In the 100 back, Makrygiannis won the event, coming in at 46.25. The graduate student finished the 200 back with a time of 1:41.42 for his second individual win of the day.<\/p>\n<p>USC&#8217;s <strong>Sanberk Oktar<\/strong> claimed two event wins in the 100 breast (53.71) 200 IM (1:47.68). Chan and <strong>Stuart Timmerman<\/strong> followed Oktar to complete the 1-2-3 USC finish in the 100 breast.<\/p>\n<p>Coming off a win in the 200 medley relay, Michal clocked a time of 1:41.71 to take the 200 fly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicole Maier<\/strong> captured the 50 free (22.50). USC then completed a 1-2-3 sweep in the 100 free. <strong>Claire Tuggle<\/strong> finished first (49.43) followed by <strong>Caelle Armijo<\/strong> (49.72) and Brito (49.83).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lindsay Barnes<\/strong> won the 200 back before the Trojans went 1-2-3 in the 200 breaststroke thanks to <strong>Daniela Karnaugh<\/strong> (2.12.28), <strong>Ella Flowers<\/strong> (2.12.44) and <strong>Katherine Adams<\/strong> (2:14.92).<br \/>\nThe 500 free saw yet another top three sweep as<strong> Alisee Pisane<\/strong> (4:49.02), Molnar (4:49.23) and Dormans (4:49.95) claimed the three fastest finishes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raphael Sibuet<\/strong> claimed a close contest in the 500 free on the men&#8217;s side with a time of 4:27.94.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Justina Kozan<\/strong> (53.01), Abraham (53.09) and <strong>Sage Miller<\/strong> (53.29) captured the top three spots in the 100 fly.<\/p>\n<p>Kozan was a double winner by claiming her second victory of the day in the 200 IM thanks to a 1:56.01 finish.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 free relay squad of Abraham, Tuggle, Maier and Kozan combined to finish with a time of 1:29.98 to wrap up a successful day at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW141719651 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW141719651 BCX8\">\u2014 The above press release was posted by Swimming World in conjunction with USC<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW141719651 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW141719651 BCX8\">.
