Notre Dame\u2019s women\u2019s team took part in a separate meet in Florida.<\/p>\n<h4>Men\u2019s Scores<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Notre Dame 145, Minnesota 117<\/li>\n<li>Notre Dame 174, Tampa 88<\/li>\n<li>Minnesota 164, Tampa 98<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Women\u2019s Scores<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Minnesota 186, Tampa 76<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Notre Dame used its sprint depth on the men\u2019s side. It bookended the triumphs with relay wins, with <strong>Shane Eckler<\/strong> and <strong>Marcus Reyes-Gentry<\/strong> on both the 200 medley relay that went 1:26.89 and the 200 freestyle squad that went 1:20.11.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fightingirish.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/results-utampa-vs.-uof-minn-vs.-nd.pdf?_gl=1*hsdrk8*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTAzODU0MjIyOS4xNzY3NDkyMzA2*_ga_KQPHWRG336*czE3Njc0OTIzMDYkbzEkZzAkdDE3Njc0OTIzMDYkajYwJGwwJGgw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/ncaa-division-ii-coverage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Division II Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eckler anchored the former in 19.26 and led off the latter in 20.18. Eckler won the 50 free in 19.91 and the 100 free in 44.42.<\/p>\n<p>Reyes-Gentry led a 1-2-3 in the 100 back, his time of 46.22 leading teammates <strong>Tommy Janton<\/strong> and <strong>Zack Oswald<\/strong> to the wall. Oswald won the 200 back in 1:46.78, edging the Minnesota duo of <strong>Ethan Kosin<\/strong> and <strong>Ryan Slonac<\/strong> by .08 and .18, respectively. Reyes-Gentry finished second in the 100 fly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Armour<\/strong> nearly pulled a triple for the Irish. The breaststroker on the winning medley relay, he claimed the 100 breast in 54.65, took the 200 in 1:57.67 and finished second in the 200 individual medley. Teammate <strong>Jeremy Kelly,<\/strong> who won the 200 free, was third in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacob Johnson<\/strong> pulled out two wins for Minnesota. He went 1:44.00 to win his signature event in the 200 fly. He added a time of 47.11 to win the 100 fly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joe Polyak<\/strong> had a fascinating meet, winning the 200 IM in 1:48.43 after finishing third in the 1,000 free and second in the 200 breast. <strong>Daniel Eichel<\/strong> won the 500 free in 4:24.67 after having finished second in the 200 free. Second to him in the 500 was 1,000 free runner-up <strong>Luke Brennan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tampa more than held its own. The Division II power got a win from <strong>Jacob Hamlin<\/strong> in the 1,000 free with a time of 9:07.64. He was also third in the 500 free. <strong>Tibor Tistan<\/strong> and <strong>Riccardo Pandin<\/strong> were 2-3 in the 50 free. Pandin was second in the 100 free with teammate <strong>Nick Cavic<\/strong> third, while Cavic was also third in the 200 fly.<\/p>\n<p>On the women\u2019s side, the Golden Gophers\u2019 triumph was paved by its sprint depth. <strong>Morgan Thomas<\/strong> led a 1-2-3 in the 50 free with her winning time of 22.81. Second was <strong>Livi Wanner,<\/strong> who was also second in the 100 free. The win in the 100 went to <strong>Mina Kaljevic<\/strong> (50.47), doubling up on her win in the 200 free over sister <strong>Anja Kaljevic,<\/strong> who was third in the 500 free.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas also won the 100 fly in 52.90.
