Beard, a world-class swimmer since she made the 1996 Olympic team in Atlanta at age 14, is being touted as the Summer Olympics\u2019 \u201cit\u201d girl. Widely thought to be the sexiest current Summer Olympic athlete, Beard will bare her sculpted body for photographer Ron Cadiz in New York City for the upcoming edition of the magazine. <\/p>\n
Beard was thrilled when asked to shoot for Men\u2019s Fitness<\/i> Magazine.

Beard is currently training to make her third consecutive U.S. Olympic team and compete at the 2004 Athen\u2019s Games. A student at the University of Arizona, Amanda has been the focus of endorsement and ad campaigns by such companies as Speedo, Red Bull Energy Drinks and The Defenders of Wildlife. <\/p>\n
