The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kennedi-dobson-building-momentum-with-pan-pacs-qualification-stellar-college-debut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fab freshman&#8217;s first<\/a> 1,650 in college slots her fifth in program history in the 1,650. The top time in the nation entering this week\u2019s invites belonged to Nebraska\u2019s <strong>Gena Jorgenson<\/strong> at 16:10.04.<\/p>\n<p>Dobson also anchored the Bulldogs\u2019 800 free relay to win on the first night of the four-day invitational at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium. The quartet of <strong>Ieva Maluka, Shea Furse, Marie Landreneau<\/strong> and Dobson went 6:53.55, well under the NCAA auto standard. Dobson brought it home in a furious 1:41.91.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/rolltide.com\/documents\/2025\/11\/19\/UGA_Fall_Invite_Tuesday_Results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/sec-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s men won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:22.18 that is an NCAA qualifier. <strong>Luca Urlando<\/strong> split 20.97 in backstroke, joining <strong>Elliot Woodburn, Ruard van Renen<\/strong> and <strong>Tane Bidois.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The other individual event of the session went to Olympian <strong>Ahmed Jaouadi<\/strong> of Tunisia. Jaouadi went 14:39.10, a time that is well under the A standard for NCAAs. It places him sixth in Gators program history. He was more than 11 seconds clear of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Three Florida female milers and three male milers made NCAAs. <strong>Michaela Mattes<\/strong> was second in 15:56.85 on the women\u2019s side with <strong>Julie Brousseau<\/strong> fourth. <strong>Eric Brown<\/strong> finished third and <strong>Gio Linscheer<\/strong> fourth for the men.<\/p>\n<p>After one session, Florida leads the team standings in both competitions, in a tie with Georgia on the women\u2019s side:<\/p>\n<h4>Georgia Invitational Women\u2019s Standings<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Florida 167<\/li>\n<li>Georgia 167<\/li>\n<li>LSU 119<\/li>\n<li>Florida State 107<\/li>\n<li>Alabama 75<\/li>\n<li>Georgia Tech 75<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Georgia Invitational Men\u2019s Standings<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Florida 168<\/li>\n<li>LSU 144<\/li>\n<li>Georgia 131<\/li>\n<li>Florida State 127<\/li>\n<li>Alabama 65<\/li>\n<li>Georgia Tech 64<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Florida State set a program record in the men\u2019s 800 free relay to win. <strong>Michel Arkhangelskiy<\/strong> led off that quartet in a school record time of 1:32.71. He was joined by <strong>Andrew Rich, Gustav Olsson<\/strong> and <strong>Logan Robinson<\/strong> (1:31.12) to go 6:10.25, an NCAA qualification time. Florida State was also second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:22.23 via <strong>Max Wilson, Tommaso Baravelli,<\/strong> Arkhangelskiy and <strong>Sam Bork.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 200 medley relay was won by Alabama, with the team of <strong>Emily Jones, Jada Scott, Gaby Van Brunt<\/strong> and <strong>Cadence Vincent<\/strong> going 1:34.37. LSU was second in a school-record 1:35.06 with the squad of <strong>Zoe Carlos-Broc, Martina Bukvic, Avery Littlefield<\/strong> and <strong>Michaela De Villiers.<\/strong> Florida hit an NCAA qualification time, while Florida State hit the provisional standard.<\/p>\n<p>LSU also set a school record in the men\u2019s 200 medley relay, with <strong>Stepan Goncharov, Volodymyr Lisovets, Caleb Ellis<\/strong> and <strong>Jere Hribar<\/strong> (18.11) going 1:22.42. That\u2019s an A cut for NCAAs.<\/p>\n<p>Florida\u2019s 200 medley, which did not include <strong>Josh Liendo,<\/strong> obtained a provisional cut in fourth place in 1:23.64. <strong>Jonny Marshall, Aleksas Savickas, Scotty Buffy<\/strong> and <strong>Devin Dilger<\/strong> were that quartet. With Liendo leading off in 1:33.40, the Gators finished second in the 800 free relay in 6:12.51.
