After establishing commanding leads in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/leah-shackley-kaii-winkler-have-nc-state-leading-raleigh-rumble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Friday&#8217;s competition<\/a>, the meet finished with the women winning with 790 points over Ohio State (546) and Virginia Tech (364.5). NC State also had 790 points on the men&#8217;s side, with a closer contest for second going to the Buckeyes over the Hokies, 485.5 to 429. Overall, NC State had 1580 to OSU&#8217;s 1031.5 and VT&#8217;s 793.5<\/p>\n<p>Day two of competition kicked off with the final round of knockout 50s, and NC State won all four strokes for the women.\u00a0<strong>Tyler Driscoll<\/strong> beat out\u00a0<strong>Erika Pelaez<\/strong> in the 50 butterfly, 23.31 to 23.46, and\u00a0<strong>Leah Shackley<\/strong> won the 50 backstroke over\u00a0<strong>Kennedy Noble<\/strong>, 23.55 to 24.13. The 50 breaststroke went to\u00a0<strong>Eneli Jefimova<\/strong> over Ohio State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maria Ramos Najji<\/strong>, 26.43 to 27.22, and\u00a0<strong>Cassie Moses\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the 50 freestyle over teammate\u00a0<strong>Lily Christianson<\/strong>, 22.08 to 22.31.<\/p>\n<p>Pelaez was first in the 200 free (1:44.83), and Noble was the top finisher in the 200 IM (1:56.85). The team of Shackley, Jefimova, Pelaez and Moses finished well ahead of the field in the 200 medley relay in 1:35.02 while Moses,\u00a0<strong>Lily King<\/strong>, Christianson and Pelaez won the 400 free relay in 3:13.23, with Pelaez coming home in a blistering 47.38 split.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State pulled off a 1-2 finish in the women&#8217;s 500 free with\u00a0<strong>Mila Nikanarov<\/strong> going 4:42.52 for the win while freshman\u00a0<strong>Adair Shaw<\/strong> placed second.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college swimming news<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s men won two of the knockout 50s, with\u00a0<strong>Quintin McCarty<\/strong> going 20.88 in the 50 back to beat teammate\u00a0<strong>Hudson Williams<\/strong> (21.13) and\u00a0<strong>Arsen Kozhakhmetov<\/strong> winning the 50 breast over Ohio State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ahmed Ismail<\/strong>, 24.03 to 24.24.\u00a0<strong>Kaii Winkler<\/strong> picked up his third win of the meet in the 200 free (1:32.51) while freshman\u00a0<strong>Max Carlsen<\/strong> swam away with the 500 free (4:16.62).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel Diehl<\/strong> placed first in the 200 IM (1:43.45) to round out the individual racing. The team of Williams, Kozhakhmetov,\u00a0<strong>Aiden Hayes<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Drew Salls<\/strong> dominated the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:23.63, and the meet concluded with Winkler,\u00a0<strong>Jerry Fox<\/strong>, Salls and Williams winning the 400 free relay in 2:48.26, with Winkler leading off in 41.67.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew Klinge<\/strong> won the 50 fly for Ohio State, clocking 20.37 to beat the Wolfpack&#8217;s Hayes (20.46) by nine hundredths.\u00a0<strong>Brendan Whitfield<\/strong> topped the 50 free in 19.11 over NC State&#8217;s Fox (19.25).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/sidearm.nextgen.sites\/gopack.com\/documents\/2025\/11\/8\/raleigh_rumble_full_meet_results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Erika Pelaez, Kaii Winkler Impressive as NC State Wins Raleigh Rumble The NC State Wolfpack continued to dominate the Raleigh Rumble on day two.
