Brooks won two individual events and a relay victory.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gocards.com\/documents\/2025\/11\/8\/UofL_v_Notre_Dame_Final_Results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Brooks went 1:32.22 to win the 200 free. His time clipped .07 seconds off the 11-year-old pool record of <strong>Joao De Lucca.<\/strong> De Lucca was on deck in his role as a Notre Dame assistant coach. Brooks led a 1-2-3 finish with <strong>Matias Santiso<\/strong> and <strong>Gregg Enoch.<\/strong> Brooks won the 100 free in 42.29, with Santiso second. Brooks and Santisa were on the winning 400 free relay that won in 2:50.62.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the wide margin, the meet featured some intriguing races. <strong>Jake Eccleston<\/strong> edged teammate <strong>Finnley Conklin<\/strong> by .35 to win the 100 breast in 52.95. <strong>Tommy Bried<\/strong> was .34 seconds ahead of teammate <strong>Aidan Paro<\/strong> to win the 200 fly in 1:44.20. Eccleston won the 200 breast in 1:53.66, ahead of Conklin and Bried.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oscar Isberg<\/strong> won the 1,000 free and 500 free, in 8:57.68 and 4:20.01, respectively. Paro won the 100 fly in 46.24. <strong>Nikita Sheremet<\/strong> won the 50 free in 19.28. He anchored the winning 200 medley relay and led off the 400 free relay. <strong>Jackson Millard<\/strong> led off the medley relay and won the 400 individual medley. <strong>Filip Kosinski<\/strong> was first in the 200 backstroke in 1:40.68.<\/p>\n<p>The only win for Notre Dame on the men\u2019s side came in maybe the best race of the day, <strong>Marcus Reyes-Gentry<\/strong> going 46.34 to win the 100 back. He was .03 up on Kosinski with Millard third in 46.49. <strong>Shane Eckler<\/strong> was second in the 50 free in 19.54 and third in the 100 free. <strong>Patrick Branon<\/strong> was second in the 500 and third in the 200 fly. <strong>Tommy Janton<\/strong> finished second in the 200 back.<\/p>\n<p>Dennis and Louisville started the meet fast. The quartet of <strong>Julia Mishler, Caroline Larsen, Ella Welch<\/strong> and Dennis went 1:34.30 to clip nine-tenths off a pool mark from earlier this year. Dennis blew away the field in the 50 free by 1.4 seconds in 21.47, just .04 off <strong>Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace\u2019s<\/strong> pool mark from 2016. She went 47.66 to win the 100 free ahead of Mishler.<\/p>\n<p>The meet wrapped with Larsen, Dennis, Mishler and Welch going 3:11.14, a second quicker than the pool mark from 2024. Mishler won the 100 back in 52.65. Welch claimed the 100 fly in 52.02.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mia Cheatwood<\/strong> did the breaststroke double for the Cardinals. <strong>Daria Golovaty<\/strong> edged Larsen in 1:44.48 to win the 200, then claimed the 500. <strong>Kim Herkle <\/strong>won the 400 IM after finishing second in the 200 breast to Cheatwood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carli Cronk<\/strong> picked up a win for Notre Dame in the 200 fly with teammate <strong>Lainey Mullins<\/strong> second.
