{"id":625608,"date":"2025-11-01T12:32:49","date_gmt":"2025-11-01T19:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=625608"},"modified":"2025-11-01T12:34:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-01T19:34:23","slug":"purdue-sweeps-cincinnati-oakland-in-two-day-double-dual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/purdue-sweeps-cincinnati-oakland-in-two-day-double-dual\/","title":{"rendered":"Purdue Sweeps Cincinnati, Oakland in Two-Day Double Dual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Purdue swimming and diving teams swept a two-day double dual meet on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Oakland University.<\/p>\n<p>The Boilermakers beat Cincinnati 234-19 and Oakland 225-126 in the men&#8217;s meet.<\/p>\n<p>The Purdue women beat Cincinnati 239-114 and beat Oakland 277-76.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s meet, Purdue&#8217;s<strong> Kate Mouser<\/strong> won the 400 IM (4:17.84).<strong> Caitlin Hurley<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:46.62 and 500 free (4:48.62). <strong>Laura Phipps<\/strong> won the 100 butterfly (53.86). <strong>Hannah<\/strong> <strong>Hill<\/strong> won the 50 free (23.17). <strong>Abby Marcukaitis<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke in 53.33. <strong>Reagan<\/strong> <strong>Mattice<\/strong> won the 1000 free (9:54.82). <strong>Keira Kask<\/strong> won the 200 IM (2:01.26). <strong>Campbell<\/strong> <strong>Scofield<\/strong> won the 200 fly (1:58.41).<\/p>\n<p>Phipps, Hurley, <strong>Adele Sands<\/strong> and Hill won the 400 free relay (3:18.43). Marcukaitis, <strong>Meghan Sharma<\/strong>, Phipps and Hill won the 400 medley relay in 3:39.06. Hill, Phipps, Hurley and <strong>Ana<\/strong> <strong>Rojas<\/strong> won the 200 free relay (1:31.59).<\/p>\n<p>In diving, Purdue&#8217;s <strong>Avery Worobel<\/strong> won 1-meter with a score of 327.45 and <strong>Daryn Wright<\/strong> won 3-meter (350.75).<\/p>\n<p>Oakland&#8217;s<strong> Lydia Soldatke<\/strong> won the 200 back (1:56.09).<\/p>\n<p>Cincinnati won the 200 medley relay to open the meet as <strong>Ellie Schrank, Joleigh Crye, Kate Mardis<\/strong> and<strong> Sonja Aarsvold<\/strong> got to the wall in 1:38.71. Crye won the 100 breaststroke (1:00.32) and 200 breast (2:13.68).<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s meet, Purdue won the 200 medley relay with <strong>Dylan Burau, Jonah Lee, Brody LePine<\/strong> and <strong>Nathanial Thomas<\/strong> finishing in 1:27.00.<\/p>\n<p>Purdue&#8217;s <strong>Evan Mackesy<\/strong> won the 400 IM in 3:49.62 and 500 free (4:26.06). <strong>Blake Rowe<\/strong> won the 100 fly (47.90) and 200 back (1:41.95).<strong> Janis Dzirkalis<\/strong> won the 50 free (19.83) and 100 free (43.41). <strong>Alex Hotta<\/strong> won the 100 back (47.07). <strong>Max Miller<\/strong> won 1-meter diving (427.50). <strong>Biko<\/strong> <strong>Hooper-Haviland<\/strong> won the 200 fly (1:45.84).<\/p>\n<p>Dzirkalis, Hotta, Thomas and Burau won the 400 free relay (2:55.80). Rowe, Lee, Hotta and Dzirkalis won the 400 medley relay (3:10.38). Hotta, Dzirkalis, Thomas and<strong> Andy Kelly<\/strong> won the 200 free relay (1:18.90).<\/p>\n<p>Oakland&#8217;s <strong>Karel Subagyuo<\/strong> won the 200 free in 1:35.42 and 1000 free (9:16.81). <strong>Chris Palvadre<\/strong> won the 100 breast (52.70) and 200 breast (1:56.77).<\/p>\n<p>Cincinnati&#8217;s <strong>Ramez Diaa<\/strong> won 3-meter diving (370.70).
