Arizona was the top team across the board, defeating both the Mustangs and Horned Frogs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s Scores:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arizona 235, TCU 1177<\/li>\n<li>Arizona 214, SMU 135<\/li>\n<li>SMU 198.5, TCU 154.5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s Scores:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arizona 241, TCU 112<\/li>\n<li>Arizona 210, SMU 143<\/li>\n<li>SMU 237.5, TCU 115.5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Wildcat women opened the meet by beating SMU in the 400 medley relay by eight hundredths. <strong>Lila Lille<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Eleni Gewalt<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Maryam Sheikhalizadehkhangh<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Riley Bottom<\/strong> finished in 3:35.08. Later, Gewalt was the only swimmer to break 1:00 in the 100 breaststroke (59.91), and\u00a0<strong>Julia Wozniak<\/strong> came in first in the 100 freestyle (48.53). Arizona&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Allie Sando<\/strong> finished first in 1-meter diving (266.05), and the team of <strong>Patricija Kondraskaite<\/strong>, Bottom, Sheikhalizadehkhangh and Wozniak finished off day one with another tight relay win, this time edging SMU by three hundredths.<\/p>\n<p>The competition&#8217;s second day opened with Lille, Gewalt, Kondraskaite and Bottom winning the 200 medley relay in 1:38.76 before Bottom grabbed an individual win in the 50 free (22.54).\u00a0<strong>Kayman Neal<\/strong> dominated the field in the 200 backstroke (1:54.38). The 100 butterfly went to Sheikhalizadehkhangh in 53.74. Kondraskaite, Wozniak, Bottom and Neal won the 400 free relay in 3:16.72.<\/p>\n<p>SMU&#8217;s first win came courtesy of\u00a0<strong>Jimena Leal<\/strong> in the 100 back (53.48), and\u00a0<strong>Anne Marie Vlaic<\/strong> comfortably topped the 200 fly (1:57.59).\u00a0<strong>Izzy Krantzcke<\/strong> touched first in the 200 IM (2:01.49), and\u00a0<strong>Summer Osborne<\/strong> surged down the stretch to claim the top spot in the 200 free (1:46.31).<\/p>\n<p>TCU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Avery Dillon<\/strong> placed first in the 1650 free (16:35.14) and 500 free (4:50.09), and teammate\u00a0<strong>Nina Vadovicova<\/strong> was first in the 200 breast (2:12.50).\u00a0<strong>Taylor Steelman<\/strong> was the winner of the 400 IM (4:22.80) while\u00a0<strong>Emma Herrera<\/strong> captured 3-meter diving (263.80).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college swimming news<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Arizona men&#8217;s team of\u00a0<strong>Alex Desangles<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tavner Wisdom<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Haakon Naughton<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Tomas Lukminas<\/strong> took first in the 400 medley relay in 3:07.63. Desangles followed that up with a win in the 100 back (46.63), and\u00a0<strong>Joel Nace<\/strong> won the 200 fly (1:44.46). Lukminas got to the wall in 42.30 in the 100 free, almost a half-second ahead of the anyone else, and Naughton was dominant in the 200 IM (1:45.96).<strong> Luke Hernandez<\/strong> won 3-meter diving (359.40), and the team of\u00a0<strong>Taylor Luck<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ralph Daleiden Ciuferri<\/strong>,\u00a0Lukminas and\u00a0<strong>Jakey Hutchinson<\/strong> topped the 200 free relay (1:18.50).<\/p>\n<p>On Friday,\u00a0<strong>Duncan Henderson<\/strong> joined Wisdom, Naughton and Hutchinson as winners of the 200 medley relay (1:25.66). Lukminas got the touch in the 50 free (19.57), and Desangles completed the backstroke sweep in the 200-yard event (1:42.29). Naughton won yet again in the 100 fly (46.51), and Daleiden Ciuferri was quickest in the 200 free (1:33.60).
