The opening stop will take place in Carmel (Ind.) from Oct. 10-12, with visits to Westmont (Ill.) and Toronto following. By visiting North America, the World Cup is veering from its typical locales of Asia and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Ohashi currently owns the fastest time in the world in the 200 breaststroke (LC), thanks to the 2:06.91 he produced in high school competition in July. The youngster was the silver medalist in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke at the recent World Junior Championships, finishing behind Great Britain&#8217;s Filip Nowacki in both events. Ohashi also earned a bronze medal at World Juniors in the 50 breaststroke.<\/p>\n<p>At the World Cup, Ohashi has a strong chance of breaking the world junior record in the 200 breaststroke. He is entered with a time of 2:04.03, which is not far off the junior mark of 2:03.23. That record has stood to Japan&#8217;s Akihiro Yamaguchi since the 2012 season. Ohashi could also challenge the world junior record in the 100 breaststroke, which belongs to Italy&#8217;s Simone Cerasuolo at 56.66.<\/p>\n<p><a
