UNC was dominant in both competitions, as the men won 166-93 while the women picked up a 173-83 triumph.<\/p>\n<p>The Tar Heel men had two teams battling in the 200 medley relay, with the A-team of\u00a0<strong>Reid Miller<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Xavier Ruiz<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Seb Lunak<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Louis Dramm<\/strong> coming out on top by 0.16 in 1:26.16.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Josh Parent<\/strong> scored two wins in the 1000 freestyle (9:09.82) and 500 free (4:24.95), while Dramm topped the 200 free (1:34.75) and 200 IM (1:43.15). <strong>JD Schmid\u00a0<\/strong>was the winner of the 100 backstroke (48.03) with Ruiz coming in first in the 100 breaststroke (53.81) and the 200-yard race (1:58.07).<\/p>\n<p>Lunak was victorious in the 200 butterfly (1:44.06) and 100 fly (46.86) <strong>Martin Kartavi<\/strong> captured the victory in the 50 free (19.58), followed by\u00a0<strong>David Melnychuk<\/strong> going 1:45.16 to win the 200 back.\u00a0<strong>Chris Booler<\/strong> finished first in 1-meter diving (346.35).<\/p>\n<p>Queens got an individual win from\u00a0<strong>Daniel Meszaros<\/strong> in the 100 free (44.28), and he combined with teammates\u00a0<strong>Nien Levy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Stamatis Paleocrassas<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>TJ Spokas<\/strong> to win the 200 free relay in 1:19.16.\u00a0<strong>Juan Gonzalez<\/strong> picked up top honors in 3-meter diving (313.28).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More college swimming news<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lily Reader<\/strong> kicked off the individual events for the UNC women with her time of 9:56.46 in the 1000 free.\u00a0<strong>Sophia Frei<\/strong> came in first in the 100 back (53.01), and\u00a0<strong>Samantha Armand<\/strong> was first in the 100 breast (1:00.68).\u00a0<strong>Mary Macaulay<\/strong> came in ahead of the field in the 200 fly (1:58.32), and the sprint events went to\u00a0<strong>Kamryn Meskill<\/strong> (50 free, 22.37) and\u00a0<strong>Michaela Chokuerva<\/strong> (50.20).<\/p>\n<p>Frei added another win in the 200 back (1:55.07), as did Armand in the 200 breast (2:13.10).\u00a0<strong>Lexie Ward<\/strong> was the winner in the 500 free (4:53.31), and Meskill had the top time in the 100 fly (53.44). Macaulay wrapped up the individual racing with a mark of 1:59.28 in the 200 IM.\u00a0<strong>Ellie Joyce<\/strong> led the way in 1-meter diving (299.92), and\u00a0<strong>Lanie Gutch<\/strong> was first on 3-meter (312.38).<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/goheels.com\/sports\/swimming-and-diving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Carolina<\/a> team of Frei, Armand, Meskill and Chokureva topped the 200 medley relay in 1:38.43, and the 200 free relay went to Meskill,\u00a0<strong>Mackenzie Headley<\/strong>, Chokureva and\u00a0<strong>Eden Goettsch<\/strong> in 1:31.12.
