The three-stop series will include visits to Carmel, Indiana, Westmont, Illinois and Toronto, Ontario and will feature some of the top athletes in the sport.<\/p>\n<p>Multi-time Olympic and world champion <strong>Summer McIntosh<\/strong> headlines the &#8220;Notable Nine,&#8221; and is coming off a four-title showing at the recent World Championships in Singapore. On the women&#8217;s side, McIntosh will be joined at the World Cup by <strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong>, <strong>Kaylee McKeown<\/strong>, <strong>Mollie O&#8217;Callaghan<\/strong> and <strong>Regan Smith<\/strong>, all superstars in the sport. On the men&#8217;s side, the &#8220;November Nine&#8221; features <strong>Hubert Kos<\/strong>, <strong>Noe Ponti<\/strong>, <strong>Thomas Ceccon<\/strong> and <strong>Josh Liendo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Swimming World Cup coming to Toronto is incredibly special for me\u2014it\u2019s my hometown, and I\u2019m so excited to race there in front of family, friends, and Canadian fans,\u201d McIntosh said. \u201cThis will be my first time competing in the full World Cup season, and I can\u2019t wait to experience the atmosphere at every stop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the intensity and excitement of the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, it will be great to get back to racing to close out the year, enjoy the competition, and keep challenging myself against the best swimmers in the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The World Cup will offer a prize pool of $1.2 million, with $10k bonuses doled out for world-record performances.
