World Cup Action in North America Rapidly Approaching<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s been a jam-packed summer in the pool. The World University Games and World Championships have already concluded. This week, the best youngsters in the sport will compete over six days at the World Junior Championships in Romania. The meet will serve as an opportunity for future Olympians from around the globe to gain valuable racing experience at the international level.<\/p>\n

The month of September might be a little quieter from a competition standpoint, but fans of the sport won’t have to wait long until the action again ratchets up. In case one forgot, World Aquatics is bringing its annual World Cup series to North America in October, with two stops set for the United States and one stop planned for Canada. The meets will be held in the short-course format and annually feature some of the biggest names in the sport.<\/p>\n

Most years, the World Cup is held in Asia or Europe, so its presence in North America is an opportunity for World Aquatics to branch out to a broader fanbase. More, the shift for the 2025 campaign offers a greater number of American and Canadian athletes to race who otherwise might not have made the trip to another part of the world.<\/p>\n

Here is a look at the schedule:<\/p>\n

Oct. 10-12: Carmel, Indiana
\nOct. 17-19: Westmont, Illinois
\nOct. 23-25: Toronto<\/p>\n
