World Championships Profiles: Become Familiar with Some of the Top Athletes in Swimming<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the past couple of weeks, in the leadup to the World Championships in Singapore, Swimming World has rolled out a series of mini profiles on medal contenders. The athletes featured have represented a wide range of countries, with some pieces featuring likely medalists and others highlighting individuals fighting for a place on the podium. Additionally, the series has profiled veterans and rising stars.<\/p>\n

The World Championships are scheduled to begin on Sunday and run for eight days. This year marks the fifth time the World Aquatics<\/a> competition has been held in Asia, as Singapore joins Fukuoka (2001\/2023), Shanghai (2011) and Gwangju (2019) as a host. Beijing will serve as the host in 2029.<\/p>\n
