A little H (e)art goes along way!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And just like a perfect Cam McEvoy one-lap dash, one of the world&#8217;s all-time fastest 50 metre freestylers described the moment as \u201cFast, wild, calm and beautiful all at the same time. A blur and yet the clearest moment of our lives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe walked into the hospital at 4pm (Monday, July 14) not knowing we were just hours away from meeting our son,\u201d wrote McEvoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMaddi was so calm that everyone in the room was shocked that she was 8cm dilated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe had a well thought out birthing plan because of Maddi\u2019s heart which basically involved as little pain as possible, to keep her heart rate down.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBut Hartley seemed to have different plans. Before we knew with was earthside in our hands before 7pm.Words do so little for how much we love this little guy already.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On behalf of the <em>Swimming World<\/em> family, we wish Cam, Maddi and little Hartley a wonderful life together with Dad now heading off to join his Dolphins family as he prepares to contest his seventh World Championships in
