Cranford came back the next day at Auburn University to join <strong>Daryn Wright<\/strong> in women\u2019s platform title.<\/p>\n<p>Cranford and Wills also won this title in 2023. They bested <strong>Kaden Springfield<\/strong> and <strong>Sophia McAfee<\/strong> by 46 points for the title.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/assets.contentstack.io\/v3\/assets\/blteb7d012fc7ebef7f\/bltf443ad27e7091965\/2025%20USA%20Diving%20National%20Championships%20Event%20Schedule.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USA Diving Nationals Schedule<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/secure.meetcontrol.com\/divemeets\/system\/meetresultsext.php?meetnum=11547\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USA Diving Nationals Championships Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/diving\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diving News<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cranford, who dives at Texas, and Purdue\u2019s Wright scored 569.43 points over a pair of lists on Saturday. They were second to the duo of <strong>Anna Lemkin<\/strong> and <strong>Lanie Gutch<\/strong> after morning prelims and through three rounds of the finals, but Cranford and Wright used a fourth-round inward 3.5 tuck for 82.56 points that put them in control. Their final margin was 15 points over Gutch and Lemkin, who scored 554.40 points. <strong>Katerina Hoffman<\/strong> and <strong>Bailee<\/strong> <strong>Sturgill<\/strong> finished third with a score of 503.19.<\/p>\n<p>The other final <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usadiving.org\/news\/2025\/may\/09\/2025-national-championships-kick-off-with-mixed-synchro-finals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Friday<\/a>, the second night of nine at the national championships, was closer. <strong>Luke Hernandez<\/strong> and <strong>Kyndal Knight<\/strong> scored 284.10 points to win the mixed synchronized 3-meter. Hernandez was representing Duke Diving, while Knight is unattached after her career at the University of Kentucky. They managed to best <strong>Krysta Palmer<\/strong> and <strong>Jack Ryan<\/strong> by 1.38 points. <strong>Luke Sitz<\/strong> and <strong>Sophie Verzyl<\/strong> were third in the field of four pairings.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan ended up rebounding with the win in the men\u2019s 3-meter synchro <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usadiving.org\/news\/2025\/may\/10\/cranford-wright-campbell-ryan-win-synchro-titles-on-day-two-of-2025-nationals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on Saturday night<\/a>. The Stanford diving teamed with Texas grad and Mission Viejo diver <strong>Grayson Campbell<\/strong> to score 782.19. That was nearly 80 points ahead of the total of Sitz and <strong>Joshua Sollenberger<\/strong> (702.24) that took home second.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>USA Diving
