He backed it up in the final by going 21.46. The third came from <strong>Lorrane Ferreira,<\/strong> who won the women\u2019s 50 free in 24.78 seconds. That\u2019s .08 seconds under the A cut. Ferreria, 32, will be swimming at her second World Championships, having gotten there at 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Second was <strong>Stephanie Balduccini,<\/strong> who went 25.24 and fell short of her third swim at Worlds. <strong>Gabi Albiero<\/strong> was third in 25.29, with <strong>Luanna Oliveira<\/strong> .01 back and <strong>Beatriz Bezerra<\/strong> another .01 behind.<\/p>\n<p>The 50 free was along six event finals Friday night. <strong>Nathalia Almeida<\/strong> won the 200 individual medley in 2:14.32, .17 seconds ahead of <strong>Gabrielle Roncatto.<\/strong> <strong>Leonardo Coelho Santos<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 200 IM in 2:00.86, edging out <strong>Caio Pumputis\u2019<\/strong> 2:01.30. <strong>Stephan Steverink<\/strong> was third in 2:01.37.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Amaral<\/strong> won the women\u2019s 200 butterfly by nearly a second over <strong>Maria Fernanda Costa<\/strong> in 2:12.96. The 200 fly went to <strong>Gustavo Saldo<\/strong> in 1:57.46.
