One quandary the selectors face is who&#8217;ll join Richards in the 200 free with Scott and Guy having tied in a dead heat on the final evening in London.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong> was the other individual medallist in Paris with silver in the 100m breaststroke but he won&#8217;t be competing in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>A further eight swimmers were selected after clinching gold inside the cut for Singapore, including <strong>Angharad Evans<\/strong> and <strong>Oliver Morgan<\/strong>, who broke British records in the 100m breaststroke and 100m backstroke respectively. Evans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/angharad-evans-lowers-british-100m-breaststroke-record-to-105-37\/\">went 1:05.37<\/a> &#8211; a time that would have won Paris silver &#8211; to go into the top 15 all-time which followed her 200 PB of 2:21.86.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ollie-morgan-demolishes-british-100-back-record-in-52-12\/\">demolished his 100 back mark<\/a> in 52.12 as he sliced a 0.58 chunk from his previous record of 52.70 set in the same pool en-route to Olympic qualification a year earlier. That elevated him to second in the 2025 rankings behind <strong>Kliment Kolesnikov<\/strong>\u00a0and his 52.04 from the\u00a0<strong>Russian Championships<\/strong>. Mills, who is coached by <strong>Jamie Main<\/strong> at Repton School, had an eye-opening meet, winning 100 free silver behind Richards in 48.03 before heading the 50 free prelims in 21.96. He went on to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/british-championships-day-5-mens-finals-jacob-mills-ben-proud-primed-for-50-free-action\/\">finish second behind Olympic silver medallist Proud<\/a> in 21.99.<\/p>\n<p>Aquatics GB performance director <strong>Chris Spice<\/strong> said:\u00a0&#8220;We were treated to a week of top-quality racing at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships, with so many Worlds selection times met and countless finals going down to the very last strokes.
