At the Paris Olympics, he delivered incredible performances, winning gold in the 800m freestyle and bronze in the 1500m. He posted a 7:41.52 in the 800 freestyle, the fourth-fastest time of his career and the fastest in the world so far this year. It was a powerful statement in front of a sold-out crowd, and it sets him up perfectly as he heads into the World Championships this July to defend his 800 and 1500 freestyle titles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cDan has been a true pleasure to work with over the past few years. As he climbed the world rankings, he played a key role in helping us validate one of the core principles behind the HydroX: too much compression can restrict blood and oxygen flow in the legs, ultimately limiting performance.
