It\u2019s the first time under 1:06 for Jefimova, who went 1:06.08 at the European Junior Championships in Vilnius, Lithuania. Just 18, Jefimova owns all three Estonian marks in breaststroke. The time is also an A cut for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/european-juniors-eneli-jefimova-wins-fourth-straight-title-sara-curtis-claims-sixth-gold-as-italy-top-medal-table\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for the NC State commit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/live.swimify.com\/competitions\/speedo-helsinki-swim-meet-2025-2025-04-20\/events\/summary\/1\/99\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speedo Helsinki Open Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Second in the race was <strong>Jenna Laukkanen<\/strong> of Finland, one of several Worlds B cuts on the day in Helsinki. The meet brought together a number of leading swimmers from Nordic, Baltic and other Northern European countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aliisa Soini<\/strong> picked up one of those B cuts, going 59.19 in the women\u2019s 100 butterfly to win by more than three seconds. It\u2019s a best time for her \u2013 she had been 59.35 at the European Aquatic Junior Championships in 2024 \u2013 the 18-year-old getting within a half-second of the Finnish record of 58.68 set in 2013 by <strong>Emilia Pikkarainen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Davin Lindholm<\/strong> won the men\u2019s 50 breaststroke in 27.74 seconds, a Worlds B cut. Veteran <strong>Fanny Teijonsalo<\/strong> won the women\u2019s 50 backstroke in 28.41, one of three Worlds considerations cuts in the event. <strong>Nicholas Lia<\/strong> of Norway won the men\u2019s 50 fly in 24.04, a Worlds consideration cut.<\/p>\n<p>Germany\u2019s <strong>Jessica Felsner<\/strong> won the women\u2019s 50 free in 25.62, three tenths ahead of <strong>Laura Lahtinen<\/strong> of Finland.
