It sent her to the top of the rankings where she displaced <strong>Milou van Wijk<\/strong> of the Netherlands who&#8217;d gone 24.48 in the Scottish capital. <strong>Marrit Steenbergen<\/strong> was second in 24.79 with <b>Angelina K\u00f6hler\u00a0<\/b>third in 24.82, a day after speeding to the 100 fly title.<\/p>\n<h3>Chalmers Continues Winning Streak; Gose Prevails Once More<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kyle Chalmers<\/strong> has been scorching his way around Scandinavia of late and on Monday he paid a trip to the top of the podium once more.<\/p>\n<p>The Rio 2016 champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/aussie-olympic-champion-kyle-chalmers-scorching-47-27-the-fourth-fastest-time-of-career-in-norway\/\">posted the fourth-fastest time of his career<\/a> at the <strong>Bergen Swim Festival<\/strong> earlier this month with a 47.27 world lead <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kyle-chalmers-blasts-21-78-pb-in-50-free-to-clinch-double-at-bergen-swim-festival\/\">before firing off a 50 free PB<\/a> of 21.78.\u00a0The 26-year-old moved on to Stockholm where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/roos-vanotterdijk-sets-belgian-50-back-mark-in-stockholm-as-kyle-chalmers-rattles-australian-50-fly-record\/\">he became the fastest Australian in textile<\/a> and second overall in the 50 fly when he posted a huge PB of 22.89. Salchow &#8211; whose German record stands at 47.80 &#8211; was second in 48.30 with <strong>Heiko Gigler<\/strong> third in 48.63.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isabel Gose<\/strong> prevailed in a stroke-for-stroke battle with <strong>Moesha Johnson<\/strong> in the 1500 on the opening night when <b>Lukas M\u00e4rtens&#8217;\u00a0<\/b>WR dominated proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>The pair &#8211; who train together in Magdeburg &#8211; once again found themselves locked into a battle in the 400 although the German &#8211; who won world bronze in Doha last year &#8211; was1.71secs ahead by the halfway point. Gose extended her advantage to stop the clock in 4:04.95 with Olympic 10k silver medallist Johnson second in 4:09.17 with <strong>Celine Rieder<\/strong> third in 4:12.68.<\/p>\n<h3>Masiuk Clinches Backstroke Treble<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ksawery Masiuk<\/strong> completed the backstroke clean sweep with a clear win in the 100. The two-time world 50 back bronze medallist led from start to finish, splitting 25.58\/27.51 to stop the clock in 53.09 which weighs as the ninth swiftest of his young career. It followed his titles in the 50 (24.71) and 200 (1:58.46).
